摘要: The electronic properties of semiconductor superlattices can be intentionally varied by changing their quantum well structures, i.e., layer thicknesses and alloy compositions. New flexibility in varying superlattice occurs strained‐layer superlattices, since lattice‐mismatched materials used for the individual layers. flexible choice makes possible tailoring various to desired values. Calculated values several adjustable material ternary are presented illustrate this tailorability. potential advantages new types with more complicated unit cells also discussed.
