摘要: Gandaki region with widest Lesser Himalayan belt comprising inner, intermediate, and outer zones; inner zone within Great Midland Antiform, consisting of Kuncha Formation rare nepheline syenite intrusives near Ampipal; garnetiferous schists gneisses, graphitic marbles; Main Central Thrust brining Higher crystallines over sequence; stretching mineral lineations in Formation; dome- basin-like folds; alkali syenites Sikkim Chhotanagpur; intermediate Kusma–Syangja core Mahabharat Synform, constituted Lower Nawakot Group, Upper Sirkot Tansen Group; north- as well south-dipping imbricate faults, constituting triangle zone; Outer Kali Palpa made up Middle fold-and-thrust tight recumbent folds, thrusts, backthrusts, klippen, outliers.
