摘要: A 51-year-old man was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) brain, left adrenal gland, and pancreas metastases. On evaluation of treatment response after chemotherapy radiation therapy, F-18 FDG PET/CT showed focal uptake in the periappendiceal area thickened appendiceal wall inflammatory change. Laparoscopic appendectomy done, findings were consistent acute suppurative appendicitis involvement 2 masses on body tip. Histopathologic confirmed metastatic carcinoma, involving submucosa, proper muscle, fat. This is a case metastasis from detected PET/CT.
