摘要: Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the influence of an acute bout moderate exercise and examine potential lasting improvements over time in young old adults within same experimental paradigm a 2-h testing period. The was designed assess efficiency selective control propensity make fast impulsive reactions through analyses percentage correct responses (CAF) magnitude interference effect (delta curve) as function latency response. Methods: Twelve (23 T 2 yr) 12 (63 volunteers performed Simon task while cycling (30 min at 65% age-predicted HRmax) after cessation (post 5 min, post 35 65 min). Results: Results showed that did not alter cognitive control. benefit on reaction performance evident for both age groups persisted 15–20 min. Distributional younger people have higher commit errors during exercise, which older adults. Older adopted more cautious strategies, especially when risk error elevated. Despite larger mean compared adults, pattern delta curves attests existence efficient people. Conclusions: illustrates effectiveness distributional supports idea exercise-induced facilitation can be realized across lifespan. Future investigations should explore whether accumulated bouts could display aggregate benefit, may significantly affect independent functioning
