摘要: The objectives were to study the “impact” of magnetic field strength on diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) metrics and also determine whether magnetic-field-related differences in T2-relaxation times brain tissue influence DTI measurements. was performed 12 healthy volunteers at 1.5 3.0 Tesla (within 2 h) using identical scan parameters. Apparent coefficient (ADC) fractional anisotropy (FA) values measured multiple gray white matter locations. ADC FA compared analyzed for statistically significant differences. In addition, measurements different echo (TE) both strengths. significantly lower with (% change between −1.94% −9.79%). higher +4.04 11.15%). are not TE=91 ms TE=125 ms. Thus, vary used strength. Comparative clinical studies or should consequently compare results normative that have been determined used.
