摘要: The blade element momentum (BEM) method is widely used for calculating the quasi-steady aerodynamics of horizontal axis wind turbines. Recently, BEM has been expanded to include corrections wake expansion and pressure due rotation (BEMcor), more accurate solutions can now be obtained in root tip sections. It expected that this will lead small changes optimum designs. In work, BEMcor implemented, spanwise load distribution optimized find highest possible power production. For comparison, optimizations have carried out using as well. Validation shows good agreement with flow calculated an advanced actuator disk method. maximum was found at a speed ratio 7 BEMcor, lower than 8 BEM. difference primarily caused by positive effect rotation, which locally causes efficiency exceed Betz limit. Wake negative effect, most important high ratios. further it obtain 5% reduction flap bending moment when compared short, allows fast aerodynamic calculations much higher degree accuracy traditional model.
