摘要: Repetitive thought may have adaptive and functional consequences, depending on, among other things, the interpretation of content: analytical or abstract (general decontextualized) experiential concrete (specific, contextual incidental). Studies experimentally manipulating repetitive shown both constructive consequences mode dysfunctional mode. The aim current study is to observe effect rumination negative self-defining memories on schizotypic symptoms. A sample 111 university students were randomly assigned one two experimental conditions induced rumination, "analytical" "experimental." participants completed a series questionnaires (anomalous perception reality, preoccupation depression) memory was obtained be used as content rumination. Following induction, in condition significantly decreased their scores anomalous reality compared with those condition. We also observed that post-induction self-reported sadness increased while happiness decreased. Our results show concrete/experiential focused here memories, positive symptoms, such reality.
