摘要: Abstract Low energy (20–200 eV) beams of Cs+ ions are collided with a frozen water layer formed on Si(1 1 1) surface at low temperature. The collision gives rise to efficient emission Cs(H2O)n+-type cluster (n=1–5) from the surface. yield for formation is very high compared reactive scattering chemisorbed surfaces, typically 100 times higher or even more. Such large suggests that clusters created through condensed-phase reactions inside ice layer.
