Group versus individual gambling behavior: Reexamination and limitation

摘要: An experiment was performed involving 120 subjects who had to choose among bets as individual persons and in three-person five-person group systems. Contrary some earlier research, a risky shift between individuals groups found only with respect the probability selections, not stake regardless of sequence which were exposed situations. No significant difference existed systems both risk dimensions, but took significantly higher selecting stakes than probabilities. All choices made by independent past experience. Despite fact that members obliged reach any predetermined agreement level, all reached an unanimous decision. These findings cast further doubt on generality phenomenon, suggesting it is situational-specific.
