摘要: Punishment (PUN) and rehabilitation (REH) attitudes toward sex offenders/offenses (SO) nonsexual (NSO) were compared in a sample of 355 undergraduates, response to brief vignettes depicting sexual offense, conceptually matched for seriousness severity. Participants assigned higher PUN scores individuals who committed offenses, whether the offenders children, adolescents, or adults. REH showed reverse pattern—sexual lower than offenders—with exception child offenders, whom did not differ between offenses. increased monotonically with offender age, regardless type.
