摘要: Abstract We present BVR colors and magnitudes for four jovian irregular prograde satellites (Himalia J6, Elara J7, Lysithea J10, Leda J13) retrograde (Pasiphae J8, Sinope J9, Carme J11, Ananke J12). All eight have generally ‘solar’ but the group has slightly redder more diverse colors. The strikingly similar of suggest parent planetesimal was likely very homogeneous. show a diversity in color that suggests heterogeneous progenitor thus variations precapture formation history. absolute revised diameters are presented. also report new two uranian (Caliban (S/1997 U1) Sycorax U2) than any these satellites.
