摘要: Vibrio parahaemolyticus is one of the most important food-borne pathogens in Taiwan, Japan, and other costal regions. We report on development a pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) method for molecular typing this pathogen. Genomic DNA was digested with SfiI, fragments were resolved 1% agarose contour-clamped homogeneous electric field apparatus set at 190 V pulse time 3 to 80 s. A total 130 selected isolates obtained from outbreaks during 1993 1994 Taiwan also characterized by PFGE method. These grouped into 14 types which consisted six patterns, 39 patterns identified. Most these domestic clinical could be clustered several major (types A, B, C, G). showed relatively low degrees similarity foreign strains but environmental strains. Strain CCRC12863, originated close group consisting F, G, H types, suggesting clonal relationship between Japanese strain isolates.
