摘要: Therapeutic cancer vaccines are an efficient and minimally toxic way to stimulate the host’s immune system in a dynamic such that responses persists beyond period of vaccine administration. The persisting immunity can be utilized by standard care therapies given concurrently or subsequently fight against cancer. Emerging pre-clinical clinical evidence shows anti-cancer “modulate”. Both Tumor host as potentiate response induced therapeutic vaccines. This book chapter focuses on these combinatorial approaches target residual cells have not been contained definitive procedures surgery. Specifically, we discuss biological basis anti-tumor immunity, immunomodulation with radiation, cytotoxic chemotherapies, hormone abrogation small molecule inhibitors, synergism strategies, trial design published ongoing studies regard.
