摘要: Manufacturers usually benefit by dividing their innovation processes into distinct phases in order to ensure that the development activities are performed efficiently an appropriate sequence. Users do not apply such structured processes. They follow a more intuition-driven approach. In this paper we analyze way users improve or develop novel products. The field of our research is new and rapidly evolving consumer market, sport kite surfing. We identified sequence underlies approaches user inventors. This consists two major stages, (1) idea generation (2) realization, each again subdivided. propose manufacturer relevant product can significantly profit from closely observing activities: Better understanding tacit needs which cannot be derived applying classical market methods. Learn about adequacy solutions user. may guide prevent inadequate solutions. Collect ideas as well corresponding solution knowledge at very low tariffs increase reputation customer-close organization.
