摘要: Abstract A new formulation for elastic, rotational inelastic, and compound nucleus cross sections strongly absorbed projectiles on deformed nuclei is developed. The real part of the nuclear potential characterized by ordinary optical model parameters barrier at all angles surface approximated an inverted parabolic barrier. transmission this as given Hill-Wheeler formula used, avoiding radial integration wave equation. Alpha scattering data samarium are fitted calculations, predictions various heavier ion reactions presented. In particular 40 Ar 238 U shows a significantly lower reaction threshold due to static deformation uranium.
