摘要: Severe infections, sepsis, and septic shock remain a major cause of death in the critically ill patients. Activation systemic response to infection disruption most regulatory axes body lead tissue injury development organ failure. Moreover, reprogramming immune system results unsuccessful fight with pathogens is vulnerability nosocomial infections. Stem cell therapies may be tempting option for treatment this septic-induced injury. Also, growing evidence supports notion that different stem subpopulations directly sense interact components system. This chapter covers known interactions between hematopoietic, endothelial, mesenchymal cells during sepsis. We discuss potential applications therapy sepsis review available experimental data are reviewed.
