摘要: A double-focusing mass spectrometer intended for the identification of organic compounds in molecular weight range up to 400 is described. Mass measurements can be made with a precision about 1 part 100,000 and resolving power (10% valley between adjacent peaks equal height) 10,000 when using 0.00025 in. source collector slits. Facilities are provided handling gas, liquid solid samples having vapour pressure excess mm at 350°C. The instrument has been use over past 18 months analysis compounds.
