摘要: Abstract Irradiation of boll weevils, Anthonomus grandis, caused a significant decrease in the amounts valine, isoleucine, and histidine an increase amount cystine free amino acids but had no quantitative effect on protein-bound acids. Also, 4 hr it did not affect incorporation glycine-1-14C or glycine-2-14C into RNA synthesis ribonucleic All carboxyl-labelled carbon glycine was incorporated same positions both serine acid protein fractions, some randomization occurred with α irradiated normal insects. The contributed little to formation CO2; carboxyl materially.
