ANGULAR ASYMMETRY OF LOW-ENERGY ELECTRON EMISSION IN ION-ATOM COLLISIONS

摘要: We show that two factors contribute to the forward-backward angular asymmetry in low-energy electron emission by ion impact: deviation of target potential from a pure Coulomb and two-center effect. perform calculations with various theories include these effects: continuum-distorted-wave{endash}eikonal-initial-state (CDW-EIS) CDW approximations based on distorted-wave perturbation theory close-coupling calculation using discrete representation continuum.
