Vapour phase hydroformylation of ethylene and propene catalyzed by a rhodium-containing aluminum pillared smectite clay

摘要: Abstract A commercial sodium bentonite pillared with aluminum polyoxocations was exchanged a RhCl 3 solution. The resultant clay had surface area of 200 m 2 g −1 , an interlayer spacing 18 and rhodium content 0.46% w/w. after thermal treatment at 623 K activation in CO/H flow 493 catalyzed the hydroformylation ethylene propene vapour phase atmospheric pressure temperature range 373–473 K. proceeded good regioselectivity to normal products: S L [normal/(iso + normal)] × 100 = 78.5. species formed under reaction conditions were studied by IR spectroscopy.
