Awareness and behavior about Pap smear testing in family medicine practice.

摘要: OBJECTIVES To describe and estimate the effect of 5 socio-demographic variables insurance status on awareness pap smear, influence sociodemographic characteristics, health knowledge score having a smear test. METHODS This is cross-sectional study 674 female patients, aged 17 years above between October December 2006, attending family medicine clinics at Jordan University Hospital, Amman, Jordan. We collected data factors, future intention to take test barriers screening. RESULTS Of 68.1% were aware Pap as medical test. Of married women, 40.3% had screening history. Women who more likely be <35 age, married, have higher than secondary education. younger scores smear.
