摘要: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the association between having a household member with cancer-related limitation (physical, mental, or emotional) and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine uptake among females aged 9 – 17 years.METHODS: We analyzed 2008 National Health Interview Survey for our cross-sectional analysis. All households years were eligible inclusion in Our outcomes of interest included HPV initiation (≥1 dose) series completion (full 3 doses). A dichotomous variable indicating was created if at least one adult responded to caused by cancer. used Firth’s bias-reducing penalized likelihood logistic regression[11] estimate prevalence odds ratios (ORs) corresponding 95% profile confidence intervals (CIs) young who had compared did not have after adjusting child’s age, race/ethnicity, SES.RESULTS: higher 9-17 (Initiation: OR=1.42, 95%CI: 0.26, 5.18); Completion: OR=2.50, 11.58).CONCLUSION: results suggest that United States may be more likely initiate complete vaccination. However, point estimates lack precision (evident wide intervals) because limited exposure study population.
