Development of submillisecond Brillouin spectroscopy with optical beating technique

摘要: We developed a rapid measurement system for Brillouin scattering spectroscopy, which requires the data acquisition time of only 100 μs. The optical beating detection was improved to directly observe and accumulate incoherent signal carrying information power spectrum scattered light. temporal evolution mechanical properties material can be measured with high resolution. It is also possible apply it light absorbing sample, since short radiating laser beam does not cause serious temperature change in sample. performance actually demonstrated material.
