摘要: Failures of ultrahigh speed induction machines (USIM) experienced in the laboratory initiated current study. The USIM was supplied by Voltage Source Converter (VSC) controlled Space Vector Modulation (SVM) to generate electric power utilizing renewable energy resources. Three different sampling techniques, Regular Sampled, Naturally Sampled and Oversampled are investigated simulations tests. It found that subharmonic flux with considerable amplitudes can be generated USIM. cause high level additional winding losses rotor could lead damage machine. investigation is focused on generation subharmonics.
