摘要: High-spin states in neutron-rich 106Mo were investigated by detecting the prompt γ-rays spontaneous fission of 252Cf with Gammasphere. Several new bands are observed. Two sets ΔI = 1 found to have all characteristics a class chiral vibrational doublets. Tilted axis cranking calculations support assignment and indicate that chirality is generated neutron h11/2 particle mixed d5/2, g7/2 hole coupled short long axis, repectively.
