摘要: The aim of the present study was to gain an understanding experiences bereavement and counselling among young people who are bereaved. A mixed methods design used. Participants were (N=8), aged 9 15 years (Mean=10.33, SD=2), had experienced death a family member attending counselling, their parents (N=7) counsellors worked with bereaved (N=6). Data collected in two phases. During first phase 32 individual interviews conducted at four time points from initial referral several months after start counselling. These consisted qualitative questions, visual scales quantitative measures examine levels grief trauma, psychosocial wellbeing, coping efficacy openness communicate. second data collection involved conducting explore perceptions childhood processes people. Quantitative initially analysed using descriptive statistics thematic analysis respectively. Secondly, patterns identified overall data. third stage based on cross-case participants, while final integrating previous stages. findings highlight individuality experience bereavement. range factors that influence people’s adjustment identified.
