摘要: A 28 day survey of all antibiotic prescriptions in a district general hospital included brief interview with the prescriber each prescription. One hundred and nineteen courses were stated, by prescriber, to be for treatment lower respiratory tract infection. By combining prescriber's clinical evidence, laboratory data, radiographic findings, an "index infection" was produced 94 patients.
