摘要: Abstract Objectives To (1) systematically review the literature on behavioral interventions for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) that aim to change physical activity (PA) behavior; and (2) explore whether these are clinically effective in improving PA, theory based, use established behavior techniques (BCTs). Data Sources A systematic electronic search was conducted databases EBSCO (including AMED, Biomedical Reference Collection: Expanded, CINHAL, MEDLINE, PsycArticles, PsycInfo), PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science from April 2017 May 2017. Study Selection Studies were included if aimed PA among MS; recognized as a primary outcome measure; (3) they had randomized controlled trial (RCT) design. Extraction The resulting coded using Theory Coding Scheme CALO-RE taxonomy assess base BCTs. meta-analysis effectiveness. Synthesis Fourteen RCTs included. Combined, there significant (P=.0003; d=1.00; 95% confidence interval, .46–1.53) short-term self-report studies nonactive control groups. There no objective or long-term PA. failed discuss results relation did not attempt refine theory. Fifty percent BCTs within used, “goal-setting” “action-planning” being most frequently used. Conclusions Current evidence supports efficacy intervention subjective but outcomes. However, conclusions this should be interpreted caution because small number sample size. Further, while design, have reported refining Exploration additional is also required future interventions.
