摘要: Abstract Apertured averaged scintillation requires the evaluation of rather complicated irradiance covariance function. Here we develop a much simpler numerical method based on our earlier introduced semi-analytic approach. Using this method, calculate aperture fully and partially coherent Gaussian, annular Gaussian flat topped dark hollow beams. For comparison, principles equal source beam power normalizing with respect to received are applied. Our results indicate that for beams, upon adjusting sizes capture 10 20% power, needs largest opening, yielding lowest average scintillation, whilst opposite occurs When assessed basis normalized fixed propagation distance size, beams seem have scintillation. Just like case point-like will offer less in comparison But performance improvement relies larger openings. Upon become more advantageous than ones.
