Rabies post-exposure prophylaxis for a child with severe allergic reaction to rabies vaccine.

摘要: Most adverse events (AEs) during the immunization of rabies vaccine were slight, there was little information about allergic reaction induced by vaccines and had to stop or change program. Here, we reported a case that 4-year-old boy category II exposure showed severe after being immunized with lyophilized purified vero cell (PVRV). After anti-allergy therapy hormone, allergy testing indicated medium egg milk, implied most likely associated animal-sourced gelatin in PVRV. Therefore, new program liquid PVRV without stabilizers under Zegrab regimen (2-1-1) enrolled at day 7 post-exposure.
