摘要: Short activated partial thromboplastin times (APTTs) are associated with thrombosis. However, what short APTTs actually represent in terms of possible mechanistic pathways is not well characterized. We have assessed thrombin generation as compared levels procoagulant factor (fibrinogen, V, VIII, IX, XI and XII) activities, von Willebrand level activity using collagen binding, phospholipid activity, 113 consecutive samples exhibiting a APTT an equal number age-matched sex-matched yielding normal APTT. found significant difference peak generation, velocity index area under the curve between two groups, that markers correlated APTT, several clotting factors. conclude milieu, represented by heightened other which may help explain association
