摘要: The authors report on 8 cases of free flaps with vascular pedicle disruption that were encountered between postoperative days to 18. In one case, the inflow disappeared 18 months after transfer without any trouble. This resulted in 2 partial and complete flap losses. 4 other survived completely. survival is related angiogenesis process coming from surrounding tissues. most obvious causal factor responsible for losses was coverage large, non viable areas, such as a prosthetic material bone deprived periosteum. only could be assessed case total necrosis presence an immunosuppressive treatment. Variables participating installation adequate angiogenic response are then discussed accordance this experience literature. Limited contact tissue, ischemia-reperfusion or drugs limiting seems promote failure when quickly disrupted. Hypoxia important cellular mechanism promoting context.
