The development of hypophosphataemic osteomalacia with myopathy in two patients with HIV infection receiving tenofovir therapy.

摘要: We report two cases in which osteomalacia developed patients on tenofovir-containing highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) the context of Fanconi syndrome with hypophosphataemia. Bone pain was presenting feature and myopathy followed one case. Disability reversed withdrawal drug mineral supplementation. The highlight importance considering diagnosis treated tenofovir. A possible association incipient acute renal failure, particularly during nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) use, needs further investigation.
