THE AR-HF INTERMOLECULAR POTENTIAL : OVERTONE SPECTROSCOPY AND AB INITIO CALCULATIONS

摘要: The vibrational dependence of the intermolecular potential Ar–HF is investigated through spectra levels correlating with HF(v=3). We have previously reported measurements (vbKn)=(3000), (3100), and (3110) using intracavity laser‐induced fluorescence in a slit supersonic jet [J. Chem. Phys. 98, 2497 (1993)]. These are found to be well reproduced (within 0.1 cm−1) by H6(4,3,2) 96, 6752 (1992)]. second overtone experiments extended include (3002) state which coupled Coriolis interaction, (3210) more sensitive higher‐order anisotropic terms potential. observations establish that level lies 0.229 cm−1 below (3110), upper rotational constant B=0.085 89 cm−1.
