摘要: Summary This paper illustrates some developments in NC programming routines for pockets. Where previous work focused on choosing optimum speed and feed, this addresses the need to select proper axial radial depths of cut. First, it is shown that pocketing operations, acceptable cut can change as direction mode (UP-or down-milling) changes. It therefore advantageous have subroutines which allow fact. A database suggesting appropriate cutting parameters produce given quality criteria has been developed using measured dynamics time-domain simulation. The tool path automatically selected optimizing metal removal rate. Additional improvements were made by avoid necessity internal corners, since depth there changes part.
