摘要: Abstract Thirty-nine girls aged 6 to 12 participated in this study, each having been referred for evaluation of suspected child sexual abuse. The study investigated the prevalence depression sample as well relationship depressive symptoms severity abuse and potential mediator variables. Child Behaviour Checklist Depression Inventory were used assess depression. A composite score was derived from disclosure medical findings. Results indicated that 67% children could be classified experiencing consistent with a diagnosis Severity not significantly correlated intensity scores. Stepwise regression analyses revealed high number stressful life events low IQ significant predictors clinical implications these findings are discussed.
