摘要: Abstract Ocean acidification (OA) is already impacting marine organisms and may fundamentally alter ecosystems in the coming decades, with major implications for ocean services, such as food provision. Though OA an emerging concern coastal zone management, current actions are limited to monitoring knowledge production. This article presents a framework addressing local-level policy agendas through workshops, lessons learned outcome from implementation of this two cases southern northern Norway. The includes four components: 1) facilitating exchange identify challenges opportunities relating OA; 2) ensuring legitimacy new knowledges; 3) building capacity learning skill development; 4) raise awareness about among local decisionmakers. case studies include regional management stakeholders and, using measurements modelling, illustrate co-production its potential impacts. Through rounds we demonstrate that level markedly increases stakeholders. manifests vocal interest looming projected impacts their necessary mitigative measures. compounded by who recognize should be treated component water-quality, implying gaining salience issue. However, it evident faces issue, combined expectations higher levels government take responsibility adaptive response OA.
