摘要: Starting from Ca(OH)2 and H3PO4 hydroxyapatite powders with three different crystallinity degrees have been prepared characterized. Densification extent mechanisms were studied through dilatometric measurements in isothermal regime the range of temperature 750–1250°C: influence powder features (including effect calcination treatment) evaluated. Powder characterized by lowest degree has highest densification extent; overlapping phenomena occurring during sintering treatments are responsible for unexpectedly low values found shrinkage rate, which can easily lead to a misidentification rate controlling mechanism. An interpretation mechanism, consistent all experimental findings, is proposed.
