摘要: Dye-sensitization of nanocrystalline n-type TiO 2 was achieved by using fruit extracts as a natural source sensitizers. Fresh chaste tree (maria-preta, Solanum americanum, Mill.), mulberry (amora, Morus alba, L.) and cabbage-palm (acai, Euterpe oleracea, Mart) were employed sensitizers in thin-layer sandwich-type photoelectrochemical solar cells. Conversion visible light into electricity accomplished with resulting I sc V oc values similar to those obtained employing traditional synthesized dyes. Fill-factor from 0.40 0.61 the extracts. The performance such cells use sensitizers, an alternative commonly used synthetic dyes based on cis-[(dcbH ) RuLL'], dcbH = 4,4'-(CO H) -2,2'-bipyridine L/L' SCN - , X etc., are discussed.
