摘要: The purpose of this study was to investigate the patterns third molar agenesis and incidence other permanent teeth in a Japanese orthodontic patient group. A total 417 subjects (134 males 283 females) with one or more molars were divided into four groups according pattern, 874 (302 572 without assigned control Panoramic radiographs medical dental records used examine for tooth agenesis. Chi-square test odds ratio make statistical comparisons. prevalence worked out at 32.3 % no statistically significant gender difference. high rate molars, unilateral bilateral, could be considered characteristic population. Significant increases occurrence oligodontia, bilateral teeth, including maxillary lateral incisors mandibular second premolars, observed all almost groups, compared controls. significantly increased incisor groups. patients had except incisors.
