摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the temporal abilities children treated by surgery for a malignant tumor in cerebellum, both perception and production rhythm. Children with diagnosed medulloblastoma age-matched control were tested rhythm discrimination task sensorimotor synchronization task. Their motor cognitive capabilities also assessed through battery age-adapted neuropsychological tests. results did not show any significant difference performance between groups On contrary, cerebellar lesions produced longer more variable inter-tap intervals (ITI) their spontaneous tempo (SMT) than children. However, length and, lesser extent, variability SMT decreased after phase, when they had been instructed tap synchrony beep. During task, succeeded modify ITI response an auditory rhythm, although better success inter-stimuli (ISI) shorter ITIs own SMT. Correlational analyses revealed that children's poorer related lower scores tests assessing dexterity processing speed.
