Depth of cure and hardness of indirect composite materials polymerized with two metal halide laboratory curing units.

摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the depth cure and Knoop hardness indirect composite materials polymerized with different laboratory curing units. Five designed for fixed restoration veneer (Artglass, Ceramage, Epricord, Prossimo, Solidex) were filled into a cylindrical mold then light-exposed by using respective proprietary unit or two metal halide units (Hyper LII Twinkle X). Depth determined scraping technique, as described in ISO 4049. Composites also underwent testing after immersion water. results (n = 5) analyzed Kruskal-Wallis test Dunn's multiple comparison test. For three (Prossimo, Artglass, Epricord), polymerization X greater than that Ceramage Artglass materials, resulted highest number (KHN), whereas, Prossimo material, Hyper KHN. effective enhancing post-polymerization properties specific while reducing exposure time.
