A review of antibiotic use in food animals: perspective, policy, and potential.

摘要: Antibiotic use plays a major role in the emerging public health crisis of antibiotic resistance. Although majority occurs agricultural settings, relatively little attention has been paid to how farm animals contributes overall problem The aim this review is summarize literature on antibiotics development resistance and its risk human health. We searched multiple databases identify lines argument supporting existing regulatory policy documents. Several reasoning support conclusion that are associated with resistance, yet most based expert opinion consensus. Finally, we propose strategies address current gaps knowledge.
