摘要: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that requires manifold approach to therapy. The goal of therapy restore the function epidermal barrier and reduce inflammation. Furthermore, proactive twice weekly use both inhibitors in previously affected areas has been found time next eczematous flare. Adjunctive treatment options include wet wrap therapy, anti-histamines, vitamin D supplementation. Bacterial colonization, particular Staphylococcus aureus, contribute flares overt infection. Use systemic antibiotics infected lesions warranted; however, empiric uninfected controversial. Local antiseptic measures (i.e., bleach baths) antimicrobial therapies considered patients high bacterial colonization. Difficult-to-treat AD complex clinical problem may require re-evaluation initial diagnosis AD, especially if onset disease occurs adulthood. It also necessitate evaluation for contact, food, inhaled allergens exacerbate underlying AD. There are host have successful difficult-to-treat these agents limited by their side effect profiles. Lastly, further insight into pathophysiology new biological investigated promising results.
