摘要: An optical transmission fiber for use in a metropolitan or access network is disclosed. The line includes being single mode at first operating wavelength of around 1310 nm and second 1550 nm. dispersion the negative one wavelengths positive other wavelengths, with an absolute value between about 5 ps/nm/km 15 ps/nm/km. also has zero that located effective area greater than 60 νm2. cabled cutoff less 1300 allows division multiplexing (WDM) operation both bands (1310 nm) by reducing nonlinear effects such as four-wave mixing (FWM).
