摘要: A cardiac rhythm management system provides for the trending of a third heart sound (S3) index. The S3 index is ratio, or an estimate number beats to all beats, where are each beat during which occurrence detected. An implantable sensor such as accelerometer microphone senses acoustic signal indicative sounds including S3. detector detects occurrences from signal. processing trends on periodic basis allow continuous monitoring activity level, conditions related failure.
