摘要: Apparatus and methods are described whereby a projected television image is divided into two horizontally displaced images, an observer wears glasses to synthesize three-dimensionality from the 2-D image. Switching means provided so that components associated with creating 3-D effect may be made operative or inoperative, either mechanically electrically. One more wedge prisms holographic optical elements mounted on frame along polarizing filters, lever used transfer these out of beam Alternatively, electrically acoustically activated spatial light modulator liquid-crystal polarizers left in path inoperative by way electrical signals. The invention both single-source multi-source conjunction frontal rear projection.
