摘要: Abstract Objectives Non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is a heterogeneous disease characterized by high primary tumor recurrence rate. Current prognostic systems used for predicting in individual patients have limitations and do not consider the biological background of this type. Our study aimed to find microRNAs (miRNAs) associated with NMIBC recurrence. Methods Seventy-eight were prospectively enrolled divided into exploratory validation cohorts. Out these patients, 32 developed within 18 months after surgery, while 46 did show any sign 30 months. Expression profiles 2,578 miRNAs obtained using Affymetrix miRNA microarrays candidate validated quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR). Results The expression profiling revealed set 137 differentially expressed between without (P Conclusions data suggest that miR-34a-3p an independent biomarker promising further validations as additional factor improve predictive value European Organization Research Treatment Cancer nomogram.
