摘要: Summary The purpose of this in vivo study was to compare the morphology enamel surfaces before bracket bonding and 6 12 months after debonding. Replicas thirty-two maxillary second premolars 16 volunteers were made (T0), debonding (T1), (T2), (T3) later. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) images labial taken at T0, T1, T2, T3 increasing magnifications analyzed according damage index EDI. Data evaluation by using Friedman test followed Wilcoxon signed ranks with Bonferroni adjustment did not reveal statistically significant differences mean EDI T3, whereas T1 significantly higher than (p < 0.05). The procedure tested produces no clinically relevant damage. These alterations are reversible indeed, as a progressive restoration pretreatment condition is evident already even more months.
