摘要: Abstract Because of shortcomings in the current wind chill formulation, which did not consider metabolic heat generation human body, a new formula is proposed for operational implementation. This formula, referred to as Steadman chill, based on peer-reviewed research including and exchange model an appropriately dressed person range low temperatures speeds. The produces more realistic equivalents than NWS formulation. It easy determine from tables (calculated by application quadratic fit both U.S. metric units) with values accurate within 1°C.
